Kentucky junior running back Rafael Little will miss at least one month after arthroscopic surgery on his knee Monday morning revealed cartilage damage and a bone bruise, UK coach Rich Brooks said at his weekly press conference.
Little sat out the Florida game Sept. 23 because of problems with the knee, and he had been experiencing swelling the past two weeks. Brooks said MRIs taken on the knee showed no specific problems, and Little played in each of UK’s past two games.
He rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown and caught a touchdown pass in UK’s 45-36 win over Central Michigan. He had 13 carries for 50 yards and three catches for 43 yards in UK’s 24-17 loss to South Carolina on Saturday night.
