Two of the Cleveland’s steadiest players will have knee surgery in hopes of being ready for the Browns’ season opener.
Cornerback Daylon McCutcheon will have minor surgery on his right knee Wednesday. Right offensive tackle Ryan Tucker will have a procedure to clean up torn cartilage in his left knee.
Coach Romeo Crennel says he expects them both back for the September 10th opener against New Orleans. He said such procedures usually require three to four weeks of recovery time.
The surgeries might make fans especially nervous less than a week after center LeCharles Bentley suffered a season-ending knee surgery.
Wide receiver Joe Jurevicius is also on the roster of injured Browns players. He didn’t practice Monday because of back spasms
