St Albans City goalkeeper Paul Bastock will miss his side’s build-up to their first Conference top-flight campaign after undergoing knee surgery.
Bastock sustained a knee cartilage injury towards the end of last season and scans showed the need for surgery.
The ex-Boston United keeper, 36, joined St Albans in November 2004 and was a key part of their promotion success last season.
