The Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nik Antropov underwent successful knee surgery Tuesday.

Antropov, who has a history of knee problems, sustained an injury to his right knee early in Sunday’s 5-0 loss at Buffalo.
The 26-year-old counted 12 goals and 19 assists for 31 points with a plus-13 rating in 57 games this season, his sixth in the NHL.
Antropov has totalled 60 goals and 156 points in 320 NHL games since being drafted 10th overall by Toronto in 1998.
He also represented Kazakhstan at the Torino Olympic Winter Games.
