My Personal Recover and Knee surgery Information blog.

On September 5, 2005 (Labor Day, I had Knee Surgery. A 12 inch Plate with screws was place in my leg to support my knee.

Yesterday was the first day, in 7 weeks after the Knee Surgery, that I was able to standup on both feet and walk. I walked across the room. I walked without the assistance of the “walker”.

I still have a lot of Exercise requirements for the Knee surgery recovery, but the aspect of being able to walk after on 7 weeks, as compared to the original 12 weeks prognosis, is astounding and phenomenal.

Knee surgery has been a trying ordeal. Each day brings new ups and downs. However the aspect of standing on my own two feet and takes unassisted steps after than Massive Knee surgery is awesome!!
